ENSPIRE EU Kickoff Meeting
The meeting was hosted by lead partner Frank Rosengreen Lorenzen, from the South Denmark European Office.
Opening the meeting, Simone Baldassarri from the European Commission, Enterprise & Industry Directorate General E-1 Entrepreneurship spoke about Entrepreneurship and the European Union.
He stated that the main problem with the lack of entrepreneurs is that young people do not have sufficient access to entrepreneurship through their education, and that he hoped that the ENSPIRE EU project partners could exchange and disseminate the results of the project with the nine other projects that the Directorate for Enterprise and Industry supports.
During the meeting, key elements of the project’s implementation were discussed as well as hearing presentations from the responsible partners, including what needed to be done, how and by when, the partnership agreement, the budget, communications, mapping of the data and the nomination of the steering group.
A further meeting was held in Paris in April at the offices of Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris / Advancia where more detail of the mapping component was discussed.
